Clissold Park to host ‘spectacle of colour and music’ on 4th November
It’s that time of year again. Firework displays will be lighting up every corner of the capital, but why would you choose to be anywhere but Stoke Newington’s Clissold Park?
The Hackney Fireworks Display is back this year with a bang, and it’s set to be even louder and more colourful than in previous years.
Held in Clissold Park, which borders Green Lanes and Stoke Newington Church Street, event-goers can expect funfair rides, musical entertainment, street performers, mood lighting, and stalls selling hot and cold food and drink.
This year’s theme is ‘movies’, and people are encouraged to come to the event dressed up as their favourite movie character. Are you a Dorothy Gale, an Agent Smith, or a Jack Sparrow?
The event starts at 5pm and the 20-minute firework display is set to start at 7:30pm.
Tickets for adults cost £8.50, and £3.50 for children. However, local Stoke Newington residents and anyone who lives in the borough are eligible for reduced rates.
So why not put your thinking cap on, decide which movie character you want to be, get your costume together and enjoy the fireworks show? We recommend you don’t miss out.
