Stoke Newington Farmers’ Market
Established in 2003 by Hackney-based Growing Communities, this weekly farmers’ market is held every Saturday morning in St Paul’s churchyard. This was the first farmers’ market in the UK to offer only organic produce, and to this day, all the produce at the market is organic or biodynamic. The market allows residents and visitors to source produce which is grown locally.

This festival was launched in 2010 to celebrate the area’s literary history, and is still running today.
